Determining my trade size

How much to put on my trade size?

In order to determine my trade size for forex?

What is my Risk per trade? 1% … 2% … 5% … what risk am I willing to lose for that trade if it’s wrong?
What type of account; Standard, Mini or Micro, as of Oanda, any trade size will be do.

I am currently trading with Oanda on a small account of SG$150, and 3% is my risk per trade.

Formula to determine my trade size;
= (Account Balance * 3%) / (Stop Loss Size in pips * Pip Value)

example
Account Balance $150
Stop Loss 20 pips
Pip Value sg$0.000139

= (150 * 3%) / (20 * 0.000139) = 1,618 (ignore decimal numbers)

Note:
100,000 = 1 standard lot size
10,000 = 0.1 standard lot size (with mini account)
1,000 = 0.01 standard lot size (micro account)

1st Forex EURUSD Win on Oanda

Took my 1st Live trade with Oanda after opening the account 2 weeks ago, I was learning and training with MT4 and NinjaTrader Charts for years now to trade the Forex market, but Oanda is the Broker that I can test Wealth Building leveraging compounding principle.
This 1st trade gained 0.36% for the account.

17th June Forex EurUsd 2 stop out

I was very weary of the Asian session as most of the time itz not profitable, and today again proven to myself with 2 full stop out of eurusd and miss a good long for the London session.

Missed London session completely and shorted in the NY session

1st trade of the week netted 10 + 10 + 10 pips, my trades are divided into 3 parts for target 1, 2 and 3.
2nd trade bring home 10 +15 +19 pips, both on EURUSD

This week has being a great week trading a stress free system (still in test mode) to find the comfortability of using it for live trades. It being proving good so far yet to show any major problems.
Last Week took 9 Wins and 2 losses making 172 pips taking $168
This week to date 10 wins making 145 pips taking $251
The Money Management was base on $1000 account trading with a max 14.29% risk last week with 2 losses in a roll, as winning trades accumulated, risk is thus reduced to 4.30% as of now. Till 3% is achieve, and will maintain at this level to compound it’s grow. As such I am applying the %K learned while chasing my tails to find the Holy Grail.

If it is, I long EURUSD 1.34635 on Oanda plaform, with MT4 I have a higher entries, and how long will I hold for a great profits. That depends on my Greed and Fear !!!
